In our passage we learn where sin increases, God's grace abounds all the more. We see the wickedness of men, God's brokenness over sin, and His justice that is only pardoned by His grace. Do you know His grace.

In our text we see that God's plan of blessing for humanity, though frustrated by the fall, will be restored through the seed of the woman. We see the glorious goal of the genealogy of Christ, the coming of death, and a call to faith in Christ as we long to walk with God as His people in every moment of our lives.

In Genesis 4 we see a desire among some to honor the Lord in the midst of a jealous and prideful world. We are reminded to have a right attitude in our worship, to live in faith, to love our brother, to come to Christ, and to preserve a knowledge of the Lord.

Join us as we consider part 2 of the fall narrative and how the fall impacts our relationship with God, our relationships with each other, and our understanding of the mercy and justice of God.

In part one of the fall narrative we learn that rejecting the goodness of God, displayed at creation, leads to corruption. We are reminded to be good students of the Word, joyfully obey our Lord, and live in holiness.

In the second part of the creation narrative we see the goodness of God in the creation of man and woman. He is good in His purposes, His expectations, and His provision for them. We are reminded to submit to His ways alone in worship and obedience to the praise of His glory.

In Genesis 1:1-2:3 we see that there is one true living God who is at work in and through His creation and created everything according to His perfect wisdom and power. Consider with us how this impacts the way we study the Bible, walk through seasons of sorrow, and live lives of worship and obedience.

Join us as we begin a series through the book of Genesis. In this sermon we will consider why we study Genesis, how we study Genesis, and learn about a sovereign God who saves people in time and space.

In Acts 10 we see that God miraculously prepares the hearts of people from every nation to hear and believe the Gospel. This truth propels us to delight in and have an urgency in evangelism; delight in obedience to Christ and participating in what He is doing to draw people to Himself and urgency for those who are dying without Christ.

The story of Christmas is a story of providence; God intervening on behalf of sinful men by providing His only son as the perfect sacrifice. Join us as we look at the story of Christmas through the lens of a sovereign King who works all things together for the good of His people and His glory.

Christmas Eve 2022 message

In Luke 1:57-66 we see that the work of God, in the lives of his people, is transformative. Transformation is certain for those who are in Christ. Listen as we consider the miraculous birth of John the Baptist and see how this story of transformation relates to our lives today.

This week we consider how in and through this fallen world, God is faithful. His faithfulness transcends all of life's circumstances, impacts how we live as His people, and sets our hope in heaven. The writer of Psalm 130 cries out from the depths of despair to a God who is merciful and faithful. 

In Psalm 102, we are reminded of the fleeting nature of man and the eternal nature of God. When our thoughts and affections linger on the flesh, we will find ourselves overwhelmed by the anxieties of the world. When we shift our attention to God Himself, we find hope. Where do your thoughts and affections rest? On the created or the creator?

In Psalm 51 we see a great example of zeal for righteousness in the life of David, a zeal we all should strive for in every aspect of the Christian life. We are also reminded of our sin and our inability to create a clean heart in and of ourselves. There is a better David, a better sacrifice we must look to in order to be made clean. Who is that better David? It is Christ.
